The RoboMarker® System is the first and only corneal marker engineered with with a concealed dual pendular weight system balanced between two high precision ball-bearings. Utilizing a gravity-based system ensures that the RoboMarker® ring dial maintains your chosen axis to within one degree, allowing you to focus on marking the cornea rather than trying to keep your marking device level.

MARK FAST TECHNOLOGY brings you marks that last in a single step with options for both visible and infrared spectrum platforms.

Single use, sterile RoboTips™ come with a dry formula pre applied to the marking fins. When the dry formula meets the corneal tear film, you get precise marks that last up to two hours. So, you can quickly mark multiple patients preoperatively with the assurance that the axis marks will hold fast – they’ll still be there waiting for you when your patient is prepped and draped.

RoboTips™ are currently available with both visible spectrum and infrared dry formulas to fit your marking application. Our RoboTips™ VS for visible spectrum applications yield superior marks for LASIK alignment, Toric IOL and LRI placement, and for use with LenSx and Victus femtosecond laser platforms. For surgeons who need to visualize marks under infrared light conditions as with Catalys, Lensar, or intraoperative aberrometry systems, RoboTips™ IR with our new proprietary infrared formula are now available.

Integrated fixation light.

FIXED FOCUS TECHNOLOGY uses an integrated fixation light to position your patient’s eye appropriately.

It just makes sense to mark in the same way that you measure. Say goodbye to that dot on the wall you are constantly pointing out to patients in pre-op. Say hello to a process that keeps the patient comfortable during marking with a fixation light, commonly used in clinic diagnostic testing. RoboMarker® gives patients a familiar focal point that not only keeps their attention, but may also reduce error by helping orient the eye so that it better approximates the position it was in when you measured their astigmatism in clinic using topography with a fixation light.

No more multi-step marking processes. Save up to 5 minutes per case if you have been using marking techniques that delay the patient prep. Your days of waiting on an autoclave, looking for your gentian violet or infrared pen, marking your cardinal positions and using an axis ring in the OR, or cauterizing the cornea are over. Enjoy the precision of the RoboTip™ marking lines to help align femtosecond cataract surgery. Say goodbye to marks that are somewhere between ink blobs and smeared water colors; now you can count on seeing your axis marks at the time of surgery. Improve Accuracy.

In addition to an integrated fixation light which may help further reduce cyclotorsion error, the RoboMarker® axis dial has five degree increments. Coupled with its dual high precision ball bearings and dual weight internal pendular system, it marks accurately to within one degree of where you set it. Each degree the axis is off can lead to 3% loss of effectiveness. Narrow that gap by limiting the number of steps where error can be introduced and by choosing a device with single step accuracy to within one degree. Each RoboMarker® is laser tested for accuracy before leaving the factory and is specially engineered to be calibrated by gravity. Outside of possible damage by the user, the RoboMarker® will remain as accurate as gravity for the life of the product.
